Inviting Members to Client Portal
Objective
Inviting members to the client portal using the dministration dashboard.
Key Steps
Adding a New Member Individually:
Go to the "Members" tab on the left-hand side of the feature drawer.
Click on "Add New Member."
Enter the new member's details such as name, email address, visibility preferences, gender, date of birth, and select a care package.
Create a username (without capital letters or numbers) and a password (with at least one capital letter, one number, and a minimum of 8 characters).
Click on "Add New Member" to complete the process.
1. Navigate to the Members tab in the feature drawer
2. Click on Add New Member
This is in the top right
3. Insert the App User's Name & Surname
You can add a preferred name as well if required,
4. Provide a valid email address to receive the invitation
5. Selecting a care package is mandatory
Select No Care Package if that is relevant
6. You can customise a username.
We suggest something as simple as the first initial of the first name followed by the surname. Alternatively you can click the Magic Wand and it can provide one for you.
7. Provide a Password for your Member.
It requires 1 Capital Letter, 1 Number and to be at least 8 Characters long.
7.1 Click the "Invite Member" Button
8. Click on Add New Member
Sending Bulk Invitations - For sending 1 or 1,000 invitations
Click on the three lines on the top right-hand side and navigate to "Send Bulk Invitations."
Select the members with the status of "invited."
Choose to send individual invites or select all visible members to send bulk invitations.
Be cautious as selecting the "Invite All Eligible Users" button will send invitations to all invited members with usernames and passwords.
9. Navigate to the Members tab in the feature drawer
10. Click on dropdown trigger
11. Click on Send bulk invitations
12. If you want to invite just 1 user, select just them.
13. Click on Send 1 Invite
Note: The system defaults to Email. If you have no email address and SMS enabled, your intended App user will receive an SMS with a link to your app and their credentials.
14. Click on dropdown trigger
15. Click on Send bulk invitations
16. To select your recipients you can on Select All Visible
as it says on the label it will select all members in the list that you can see
17. Click on Clear All
as it says on the label it will de-select all members in the list that you can see
18. You can manually select the members you wish to invite
19. Click on Send # of invites
20. Your intended App user/s will receive an invitation!
It will have your logo, their name, the links to download the App from the Apple, thier Username and Password
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that the new member's details are accurately entered to avoid any errors in the invitation process.
Be cautious when using the bulk invitation tool to prevent sending invitations to unintended recipients.
Tips for Efficiency
Utilise default settings for visibility preferences to streamline the new member creation process.
Use the bulk invitation tool for efficiency when inviting multiple members at once.
Customise the invitation email template to include relevant branding and instructions for the new members.
